On June 26th, 1936, my great-grandparents embarking on an exciting journey. Joseph and Frances Peco opened a small store front in front of their home located on the corner of Philadelphia Pike & Marion avenue. 80 years later their legacy still thrives at the same location. Over the decades the storefront as grown in size from just under 400 square feet to over 3000. As the years went on the store has also grown to include parts of Joseph and Frances home. The whiskey library at Peco’s Liquors is in Joseph & Frances’s former dining room, while the wine terrace is in located in their former living room. This truly unique situation means that when we welcome you to our store we are also welcoming you into our family home. For almost 60 of Peco’s 80 years history it was my grandparents Rita & Frank Gazzillo who ran the show. Together they grew a small family business into a staple of the community. They worked tirelessly to ensure that they were providing their customers with the best, price, service, products, and experience possible. Rita and Frank sadly passed away last year, it is hard to picture celebrating this milestone without them, but we know by carrying on their legacy we are keeping their memory alive. It is our promise to keep Peco’s traditions of providing the best to our customers alive for many years to come. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support over the past 80 years. Without you, there would be no Peco’s we owe you a debt we cannot repay.
